Detoxaholic is back with the weekly #YYT (Yummy Yeah Tuesday) celebration! This week nominees are two masters of dance and choreography that are setting new pop culture trends in entertainment and on the dance floor!
The first nominee is the flawlessly beautiful Fatima Robinson. She is a vet choreographer that has choreographed some of the most influential music videos in pop culture. Fatima’s genius can be seen in famous music videos such as Michael Jackson’s Remember The Time, Aaliyah’s Rock the Boat, Mary J. Blige’s Family Affair, Busta Rhyme’s Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See, and tons more. Her talents have also transitioned into the world of film, and her work can be seen in films such as Save The Last Dance, Dream Girls, and many more. She has been a master of her craft and a culture shifter since the 1990’s and has inspired a whole generation of dancers and performers. Her gift of dance has successfully aided in throttling hip-hop culture to the masses and she continues to push the culture forward to this day. Currently, she lends her choreography talents for Pharrell, Janelle Monae, Nicki Minaj and more. From the club, to the stage, to the big screen this Queen’s reign continues to dominant the industry. The next YYT nominee is the dapper and handsome Master Fluent. The self-proclaimed “Master of Swank” is a dancer, choreographer, contortionist, and more. He is Wondaland’s breakout star Jidenna’s right hand man and a member of the Fear & Fancy movement. Fear and Fancy is a branch off the Wondaland tree that consists of nation-wide gatherings where people can enjoy art, culture, dance performance and more. He reflects a vintage elegance that is making a steady wave amongst the fashion expressions amongst young African American males who hold a more sophisticated style. His awesome stage presence and chemistry with Jidenna has girls world-wide wanting to know more about this new school culture shifter.
