Detoxaholic was front and center at the 1st Annual Cool World Order Tour in Washington D.C. The tour was created by a group of young, professional, forward-thinking African-American gentlemen that go by the name of Cool Young World. These men created this tour to reintroduce and preserve the true essence of hip hop culture, which is building an empathetic stance towards community outreach that provides a networking platform for humanitarian organizations, entrepreneurs, media outlets, and artists that reflect the vast dimensions of the culture.
The tour is a four-part showcase series that takes place in popular venues all over the metro-area of our nation’s capital. For only a $5 cover, the public can experience comedy, live art, and the top music acts the city proudly has to offer. In addition, Cool Young World encourages people to bring clothing and perishable food to donate to Covenant House for the financially less fortunate and homeless.
There is still time to witness this history in the making. This Wednesday night, August 5th, the final installment of the tour will be taking place at The Red Lounge Bar & Grill on 14th St. NW in Washington D.C. For all event info, visit the tour site at: http://coolwordordertour.splashthat.com/.
